HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR SUEDE AND LEATHER FOOTWEAR
SUEDE
When it comes to cleaning suede shoes, the old saying ”an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure” definitely applies. Treating your suede shoes with a protective spray will help to repel water and prevent stains. If the ship has already sailed, at least you will know for future reference to protect before wearing.
Remove dirt with the Suede Brush
1. Use the side with the brass grain and always brush in the natural direction of the suede
2. Brush gently to remove dirt
3. Brush vigorously to remove scuff marks
Cleaning Foam
1. Shake the bottle
2. Apply the product and rub in with a cloth
3. Leave to dry, then buff
Renovating Conditioner
1. Apply the product by squeezing and pressing the sponge applicator all over the shoe
2. Let it dry
3. Use the Suede/Nubuck Brush to restore the structure of the suede
Waterproofing Protection Spray
1. Shake well before use
2. Spray from a distance of approx. 25 cm
3. Allow to dry, preferably overnight
LEATHER
Taking care of leather shoes is not just about making your shoes look good. It is also about preserving and adding to the life of your new lovely shoes. Look at it as though you are protecting an investment, or what could be a future collectible. Leather shoes require the most care, but if you protect them well, it will expand their lifetime significantly. Follow these four steps for cleaning and maintaining your leather shoes.
Remove dirt
1. If the shoes are dirty, wipe them with a moist cloth
2. Never soak the shoes and do not use any chemicals to clean them
Shoe Cream
1. Apply directly on the shoe and work the cream gently into the leather with a cloth
2. Allow to dry
Polish Towel
1. Polish the shoe to shine up the leather
Waterproofing Protection Spray
1. Shake well before use
2. Spray from a distance of approx. 25 cm
3. Allow to dry, preferably overnight
